Tra le varie lezioni di dressage classico, che ho potuto effettuare durante il mio viaggio in Portogallo, sono stata abilitata a pubblicare quella avvenuta presso La Lusitanos Academy , credo la più bella, per l'ordine, la precisione, l'assistenza in campo, la cura del dettaglio, la passione, la gentilezza e la dedizione con cui mi hanno accompagnato durante la preparazione dello stallone Alter Real, dalle scuderie ( abbiamo sellato insieme ed osservato il cavallo bene da terra) fino al campo coperto. Tutto il lavoro è stato effettuato con l'assistenza tecnica di Pedro Salvador , un vero Maestro del dressage classico con il quale abbiamo parlato di tanti elementi del dressage classico, e abbiamo notato che la vera cultura classica equestre può mettere subito in contatto persone che si conoscono da pochi minuti, ma che condividono la stessa cultura tecnica ed i suoi principi assoluti, validi sempre, nel tempo e nello spazio. Ringrazio Lusitanos Academy per la magnifica possibilità di montare presso di loro, ed effettuare questa lezione con Pedro Salvador ed anche di poter pubblicare le foto relative a quel momento. Ringrazio questo Maestro di equitazione, per avermi accompagnato da terra, passo per passo, da vero coach preparato competente e serio, mostrandomi che senza indugio e timore, ho potuto "montare" sotto la sua guida attenta, uno stallone di 4 anni Alter Real, ancora in formazione ( ma ho saputo solo alla fine che il cavallo aveva 4 anni! Non senza stupore ed incredulità ovviamente) Lasciandomi nell'anima oltre che una lezione tecnica, una motivazione interiore di stima e fiducia tecnica in me stessa e nelle mie possibilità e conoscenze personali. Pedro mi ha mostrato il sauro prima montato da lui rendendolo calmo, sereno e già sugli aiuti, per farmi passare la lezione che desiderava lasciare tra le dita ed il mio assetto. Il maestro portoghese mi ha lasciato scegliere l'imboccatura da adoperare per il training, ed è stato lieto di sentire come mia risposta di voler usare il morso ( un morso a pompa classico per altro) ed il filetto, per me da sempre l'imboccatura completa chiave del dressage. " si può avere tutto tra le mani al contempo, sia il filetto che la leva, basta saperla usare con sensibilità e tatto equestre, perché niente è completo e decontrae come la briglia" abbiamo potuto sintetizzare dopo la lezione. È stato bello sapere che appaio come una allieva attenta, volenterosa, desiderosa di imparare ancora, che ascolta e si impegna con passione. Una bella conferma perché nel dressage, come nella vita, non si smette mai di apprendere e solo se ci si sente sempre allievi, la strada della conoscenza ti viene incontro, nella mente e nell'anima. Un 4 anni alter real già con una buona base e l'impostazione nel seme dei movimenti tecnici laterali più avanzati. LAST EPISODE OF THE EQUESTRIAN CULTURAL JOURNEY IN PORTUGAL By Giulia Iannone Equestrian Among the various classical dressage lessons that I was able to take during my trip to Portugal, I was able to publish the one that took place at Lusitanos Academy, I believe the most beautiful, for the order, precision, assistance in the field, attention to detail, passion, kindness and dedication with which they accompanied me during the preparation of the stallion Alter Real, from the stables (we saddled together and observed the horse well from the ground) to the covered arena . All the work was done with the technical assistance of Pedro Salvador, a true Master of classical dressage with whom we spoke about many elements of classical dressage, and we noticed that true classical equestrian culture can immediately put in contact people who have known each other for a few minutes, but who share the same technical culture and its absolute principles, always valid, in time and space. I thank Lusitanos Academy for the magnificent opportunity to ride with them, and to do this lesson with Pedro Salvador and also to be able to publish the photos related to that moment. I thank this riding teacher, for having accompanied me from the ground, step by step, as a true coach prepared, competent and serious, showing me that without hesitation and fear, I was able to "ride " under his careful guidance, a 4-year-old stallion Alter Real, still in training (but I only learned at the end that the horse was 4 years old! Not without amazement and disbelief obviously) Leaving me in the soul as well as a technical lesson, an inner motivation of esteem and technical confidence in myself and in my personal possibilities and knowledge. Pedro showed me the chestnut he had ridden before, making him calm, serene and already on the aids, to pass me the lesson he wanted to leave between his fingers and my seat. The Portuguese master let me choose the bit to use for training, and was happy to hear my answer to want to use the double bridle (a classic pump weymouth ) and the snaffle bit, for me always the key complete dressage bit. "you can have everything in your hands at the same time, both the snaffle bit and the lever, you just need to know how to use it with sensitivity and equestrian tact, because nothing is complete and relaxes like the bridle" we were able to summarize after the lesson. It was nice to know that I appear as an attentive, willing student, eager to learn more, who listens and commits herself with passion. A nice confirmation because in dressage, as in life, you never stop learning and only if you always feel like a student, the path of knowledge comes to meet you, in your mind and soul. A 4 year old alter real already with a good base and the setting in the seed of the most advanced lateral technical movements. I attach some images of that great lesson that I was lucky enough to receive and that is already part of my unshakable emotional and sensitive cultural baggage.
